The summer heat must be blamed for my mind being completely blank. Is there any tile expert who can advise me on the following issue? I am about to start laying floor tiles and tiling the wall in the guest bathroom (everything is plastered, measured, and drywalled). How do you typically handle where the floor tiles meet the wall tiles at floor level? Should the wall tiles overlap the floor tiles on the outside, or should the floor tiles go up to the wall tiles, which then extend a bit below the edges of the floor tiles? I seem to recall someone suggesting a third solution where you bring the floor and wall tiles close to each other, leaving only a small gap of 2-4 mm, and then seal that gap with silicone (I'm not using baseboards).

Many thanks for your opinions and tips!!!
Best regards, Jörgen (melting away in the heat...)

It doesn't matter which tile overlaps the other. The joint is concealed with cement or soft sealant.

Jon - it will be time to say.....THANK YOU, again.
I will immediately check who sells the sealants you describe.
Regards, Jörgen.

So little. So use the same grout as you use for the rest of the floor, or matching silicone. :)
