What's the best approach when installing corner boards (145*170)? Should you first nail them together on the ground and then mount them on the wall? Or is it better to mount one board at a time?

I want the corners to be even and nice. The best option might be to screw them together and then fill the screw holes with putty/sealant.

Feel free to share tips.

I usually build mine on the ground and then hang them in place. It is undeniably easier to assemble that way and yes, I screw them together.

Hello!
I have screwed and glued my joints 28X145 with stainless Torx and polyurethane glue (foam glue). They sit like a rock and you avoid unpleasant gaps when the wood dries (it doesn't warp either). Be precise when you are going to glue. First, screw the pieces together without glue but do not drive the screw all the way in. Then take everything apart and let the screws stick out a few millimeters on the glue side. Apply the glue and screw together fully. The advantage is that all screws find their holes and the pieces do not slide on the slippery glue. Feel free to use clamps.
If you are going to bevel the "outer corner" of the joint with the router, be mindful of the positioning of the screw heads!!

Okay, thanks for the tips. I suspected it would be easier to assemble them lying on the ground. I noticed that I wrote 145*170... a little wrong. It is actually 145*120 (28 mm).
