Hi,
I have started renovating a small bedroom that previously had fiberglass wallpaper on the walls. I'm also thinking of renovating the ceiling. I'm not sure about the material but thought of putting plasterboard on the existing ceiling.

Will it work or is it better to tear down the existing ceiling first?

There will be renovation plasterboard on the walls. The house was built in the 50s.

Thank you and I apologize for my bad Swedish!

Check what kind of ceiling you have, hope for wood so you can screw drywall directly to the ceiling.

Yes, it is wood. I tried to remove a plank, but it was difficult because it is glued. I could see wood underneath (or above!).
