The screw doesn't hold in OSB - use molly bolt?
Hello,
I was planning to set up some brackets for a larger countertop which will later become a desk.
To my surprise, the screw didn't hold, I could bend the bracket off myself. We have drywall and OSB and this has never happened before. The house is about 10 years old. Two large 65” TVs are mounted securely and nicely on the wall without any problems.
Can I use expanders (read Molly plugs) for double drywall instead? That should become incredibly strong then. Or do you have other good advice?

What screw are you using? Sounds like the wrong screw or you have tightened too much.
I often use this screw, 6mm, for similar mounting. It holds like a rock in OSB.
