Hello hello

I'm in the process of installing a new plaster ceiling and I think I'm making it unnecessarily difficult for myself. I need tips on how to achieve the perfect flat ceiling with a sharp, nice transition to the wall.

How do you do it?
Do you bevel the non-beveled edges towards the wall and other plasterboards? If you do bevel the edge, how much and with what? If you don't bevel the edge, do you remove the already beveled edge before putting up the plaster?

Do you use plaster tape between the ceiling and wall, or how do you plaster to create a neat transition between the ceiling and wall that doesn't crack?

Do you drill holes for sockets and spotlights before putting up the plaster or once it's in place?

Getting a sharp transition that lasts is not easy. What holds best is a flexible sealant that you paint over with the same color as the wall/ceiling. However, it then becomes a radius.
