Hu, it looks strange. Surely he missed and is taking a chance that you'll buy it. Like when they installed fiber and accidentally drilled a hole in the panel. Told my partner that "things like that are usually something the homeowner (me) wants to fix." Thanks for that! Fixed it several years later when we repainted.

They are actually skilled and I have been satisfied with them so far. I simply think he assumed that the facade would be equally aligned all around. And didn't consider that the windows on this old house are placed differently on different sides.
 
Currently working on changing the façade and will do one side per year, haven't considered that the windows might be at different heights...:surprised::thinking::)

Either they have to cut away the panel around the windows and do it "as well as they can" or they have to remove the panel. Raise the stud 10cm and re-nail the panel?
 
Move out the basement window a bit?
