The glue dries too quickly

I'm using regular Casco wood glue for some indoor wood constructions. Sometimes, however, I feel it starts to dry too quickly. I wish I had about half an hour before the glue starts to dry. Is there a trick to do with such glue, or is there another glue that would be better suited for my constructions?

Mix with some water

You can use polyurethane adhesive instead. It has a longer open time.
