I know it's an over-discussed topic but it makes you a bit paranoid.

"Bilhandlarpaneler" glued to chipboard (probably 1978, possibly as early as 1975) with this glue, could it contain asbestos? I would guess contact adhesive.

Close-up of a particle board from the 1970s with dark brown adhesive or contact glue pattern on the surface.
Close-up of a yellow surface with brown adhesive residue, possibly contact glue, on a chipboard, raising concerns about the presence of asbestos.
Close-up of brown adhesive substance on particle board, likely contact glue.

S
certainly contact lim.

Thanks for the answer! Anyone else want to comment?

Agree, there are absolutely no signs that it would be asbestos.

Although it really doesn't matter.........even if there IS asbestos in the glue, it won't release anything anyway. Not more than the normal levels of asbestos in the air anyway. Believe it or not, but everyone filters in asbestos every day.............very small amounts, but still.
