I am interested in a good book about construction techniques, work processes, material selection, etc., etc. I will soon start furnishing a completely empty upper floor. I'll be laying floors, installing interior walls, putting up ceilings, possibly building some built-in cabinets, installing sliding wardrobes, etc. I have some basic knowledge, and I have received a lot of help here. But I also want a handbook readily available. I have googled a bit and found "Husets ABC," which seems very good. However, it is quite old. Is there a newer version, or is it still the book to go for?

Then I wonder if there is a similar book about electrical work? Yes, I know there are competency requirements, etc., for electrical work. But I want to learn how it goes, and I also want to install conduits in interior walls, etc., to run speaker cables, etc.

The ABC of the House is really good! If you find a new edition, you won't need many more books.

Husets ABC is a good, but basic book, a good start. Buy and read it and spend many hours here on byggahus to deepen your knowledge. ;)
