Hello, I have bought a house built in 1938 that I am currently renovating. I thought I would make a temporary solution in the laundry room as I don't have too much time to spend on it right now.
Now to the point, it's about a plastered basement wall that is deteriorating because the previous owners had a shower area there and painted some kind of plastic paint that has made the plaster too dense.
I thought I would put up something simple to keep the plaster from falling onto the floor all the time. Does it work to set up with wood and OSB and then remove it in 1-2 years without it getting damp?
The basement is newly drained and insulated from the outside.
