I am going to demolish 410 of a load-bearing wall between a kitchen and living room. I'm sending a quickly drawn picture so you understand. The builder made a calculation for a glulam beam based on my measurements and determined that I should have 90x315. Calculated on "Bärlina under bjälklag" in the program available on Moelven's site.
Now, since the roof trusses are constructed as in my upper sketch on the picture, the load should be greater, right?
