Hi! I am thinking of demolishing a concrete interior wall in my 1940s apartment. I am considering renting a wet cutter to avoid dust as much as possible. What do you think about that? Is it the best option?

A wet saw releases a dust-saturated slurry that must be collected immediately when cutting inside an apartment. Rent a powerful wet vacuum at the same time.

Next time it will be this custom-built vacuum cleaner (dc1400) for k3000. seems really awesome. But now I have rented equipment and tomorrow I will start the work. the saw feels almost a little intimidating considering the large blade. it's important to keep the right limb in the right place.

And yes, it's a powerful machine with a deadly blade, so be very careful. It's not fun to get kickback and the blade in the face, which has happened. So make sure you have the right protective gear, and that you stand firmly and don't have debris, cords, and stuff on the floor, and no other distractions. Full focus on the machine when you're operating it. Then it should go safely.

Thank you! It went well in the end. No throwbacks. It was very easy to use except for the horizontal cuts near the ceiling. Difficult to get a straight cut. Next time, I'll definitely attach a suction pump. Luckily, I had carefully covered the apartment with plastic as it was spraying in all directions.
