I'm working on a small construction project where I'm using T-vind Super as a wind barrier on the exterior of the frame.
According to the description, it should work as temporary weather protection and stand up reasonably well against rain and wind. This weekend it has both rained and been windy, but in some places the fabric has dampened through, and the studs behind have become wet.
So my question is, how watertight should the fabric be? Is it bad enough that the fabric is torn, and replacement is necessary?

If it looks intact afterward, you can probably continue using it with at least 99% certainty. I wouldn't hesitate.
What you've experienced is likely the wind creating enough water pressure to push water through the fabric; it's not exactly a gore-tex fabric.
Sunlight is probably T-vind's biggest enemy, so preferably don't leave it open for several months during the peak summer sun.

It's great that you replied as I have followed your project(s) here, it has been good inspiration for my build!
Let's keep our fingers crossed that the house is still standing tomorrow because the wind is really howling around the corners here now!
I'll have to do a thorough inspection of the tarp if it remains :O, if no damage is visible we hope it's sufficient.
