Hello!

I have an old garage where the roof has really done its job. I want to spend as little money as possible since I don't plan for it to remain standing for many years.

Since I have loads of roof tiles lying around, I thought of putting them on instead of a new felt roof.
The roof boards should of course be replaced first.

What I'm wondering is if the joists will hold or if one can get away with reinforcing them?
I don’t mind if the roof sags a little, but it would be nice if it doesn’t collapse since I plan to have a car in there.
Do I need to reinforce the framework under the rafters since they aren't directly over the studs in the walls?

The rafters are 45*110 and are spaced at 120cc. It is 3400 between the walls.
I live outside Kalmar.

Yes, I know the cheapest would have been to just add new felt, but I want to practice laying a tile roof since I'm planning to build a significantly larger garage later and want to have some experience when I build it.

Check out the construction and dimensioning tools on the wood guide to see what the dimensions should be for a heavy roof. Compare it with what you have to get an idea if it will work.
