Hello!
I am going to live in a rental apartment and I have a poorly planned apartment. My neighbor explained why; apparently, they converted three apartments into two.
The problem is the bedroom, which is long and narrow with the entrance on the short side. On the other side, there is an exit to the balcony. So if I put in a double bed and want to go out to the balcony, I have to walk on the bed.
I spoke with my landlord about this, and they have approved that I can close the door on the short side and open a door on the long side near the balcony door (my neighbor below me has been allowed to do this). Since the spaces are so small, I have bought a sliding door and just purchased this pocket solution:
http://www.bygghemma.se/inomhus/innerdörrar/skjutdörrar/skjutdörrskarm pocket vit/p-131737
Now to my question.
I will probably want to put up a TV on the same side as the pocket hole and then I will need a strong wall to mount the TV on. I assume that this pocket solution is meant to have a plasterboard attached to it. Is it sufficiently durable? Or is there another solution/material? What do you recommend?
Best regards,
Shine
