Suggestions for wall materials for garage?

I will soon be covering the inside of the garage walls. Right now, there are only studs, insulation, and plastic on them. The question is, what should I put on the inside? I can start by saying that I have done a lot of construction on my house, so I don't want to, or have the energy to, spend a lot of time on this. So drywalling and plastering are out. What I'm considering is putting regular particleboard on the walls and then just painting them. What do you think, will it look ugly and shabby? Any other suggestions that aren't very expensive or require a lot of work? Or will particleboard suffice?
