Suggestions for wall materials for garage?

I will soon be covering the inside of the garage walls. Right now, there are only studs, insulation, and plastic on them.
The question is, what should I put on the inside?
I can start by saying that I have done a lot of construction on my house, so I don't want to, or have the energy to, spend a lot of time on this. So drywalling and plastering are out.
What I'm considering is putting regular particleboard on the walls and then just painting them. What do you think, will it look ugly and shabby?

Any other suggestions that aren't very expensive or require a lot of work?
Or will particleboard suffice?

Chipboards look too shabby, I would rather have chosen plywood in that case.

I use plywood. Particleboard just feels B! Personally, I think it looks better without paint! Very practical too!

Use OSB plywood instead of chipboard, it looks just as bad, but is better and cheap.

When the desire and money appear, you plaster over the OSB, then it's child's play to plaster, and you don't necessarily need to spackle, painted unspackled plasterboard looks better than chipboard.

Plywood is probably much more expensive than chipboard? Otherwise, it does look nice with a whitewash. OSB is fairly cheap but not as nice to paint. Hmm, well maybe it's better than chipboard anyway.

Regular construction plywood is twice the price of particle board, but how much do you need for your garage? It can't be that many sheets.

Mount plywood or OSB, paint white

If you get tired of it one day, you can mount drywall and plaster over it.

I hate my garage walls that don't have a board behind the drywall.

Much more durable than regular plasterboard. It can be attached without having OSB/plywood behind it.

Are there no regulations for fire-resistant wall cladding in garages, i.e., gypsum, or even double gypsum?

Dad has chipboards in the garage that he just putty over the screw caps and then rolled. It actually looks really good for a garage. So I don't know why everyone is so against chipboard? Hard, durable, and smooth surface that can be painted directly.

What do you think about råspont on the inside of the garage? Would it work? Costs about 6 kr per meter.

It is probably 6 kr per linear meter. It will be a bit more per square meter.

11.5 meters råspont per square meter, so that's quite a bit, yeah I would probably have waited for energy/funds and gone with osb gypsum,

Raw board looks nice, but it takes quite a bit more work to install.
