Question Is it common to have a plaster facade on a wooden house? I believe the construction company is trying to sell a plaster facade because it's cheaper. We initially talked about a wooden facade but they are switching to plaster, arguing that there's so much wood anyway.
What is recommended? A wooden wall breathes, but how is it with a plastered wooden wall?
Grateful for answers

Plaster on wooden houses is common but usually costs more. However, the maintenance is much less in the long run.

Today's plaster facades have a ventilated construction so moisture can be ventilated away.

I actually think you should choose what looks best according to you.

So moisture won't be a problem? Just think that if you are passionate about wooden houses, plaster somewhat deviates from the idea of wood. How ecological is it?

Moisture is not something you need to worry about.

It is not organic since it is a dead material.
