I'm in the process of building an extension on the house. I ordered lintels above the windows and couldn't maintain the recommended 250mm support that maxit specifies. I started to calculate a bit and was immediately faced with the fact that with the number of layers remaining, there will be a maximum load on one side of the window of 450kg.
With Byggmax lightweight concrete blocks, they specify 2mPa as the maximum load. With my math, this gives a maximum of 2039kg/dm2. Is there something I've completely missed, or is that how it turns out???

there is a part that you forgot to account for
first, it is 2MPa in compression, but it is around 0.3MPa in tension that they can handle, and above the window, the beam will be subjected to tension which will also be affected by how well it is bonded with what is above, so it will be a synergy between the different layers
then I think it's easier to say that 1MPa = 1N/mm2, but sure, you can say that it's 1ton/dm2, and then it means it can handle 2 tons in compression and 300kg in tension, but it's the outermost layer that is most stressed, so if it starts to fail, everything will break
then it is important that there are some calculations on the construction so you know if there is a little margin or if it is tightly calculated
