I have a deck on the 2nd floor and am planning to build a storage shed underneath. Therefore, I have two questions:
1. I want to protect the floor from rain so it doesn't rain into the future storage shed, how do I do this? The deck is already built and it's not an option to tear up the deck floor.
2. I have an existing floor of paving stones where the storage shed will be built and I want to use this as the floor in the shed. How do I build the wall? I will be building the wall on existing posts. The problem is how I do it between the wall and the paving stones...

1) You could install a simple metal roof with drainage and a gutter under the terrace on the roof of the shed, but it would look nicer to roof the terrace so that almost no rain comes onto it. Then it should be enough to screw up some fiberboard panels or similar in the shed ceiling.
2) You can leave an air gap of 5 cm to the paving stones, but build up a threshold inside of 10 cm. This should give you decent air circulation without water getting into the shed. Ideally, use horizontal paneling as the bottom one will have a shorter lifespan than the others.
