But due to problems, I won't be able to put up the panel before winter.
My concern is whether I dare store the unmounted packages in the garage, sharing space with the car. Considering the humidity that occurs.
I do have a dehumidifier installed in the garage,
So would the ceiling panel withstand that environment?

Much better indoors so they can acclimate and won't shrink when you install them.

I understand your thought, would have done so if there was space.
If I rephrase my perhaps slightly vague question
Would it be inappropriate, would the panel be damaged from being stored in the garage next to a car that may have been driven in slush and the like.

It will not rot but bring it inside a little before it is to be nailed up.
