Hello,

I have built a 50cm high retaining wall made of stones 300x200x100 with locking lugs. The load from the back of the wall is not unusual, but I can't find how much a retaining wall can be loaded from above. Do I dare to finish the wall with a row of step blocks like this, or will it be too heavy?

Is there a risk that it will make it unstable in some way? The block weighs 84kg each.
The entire backside of the wall (except for the step block or a top stone) will lie below ground level, and the entire front side of the wall will be covered by a terrace.
I'm trying to reason with myself about why it wouldn't be suitable, but I can't come up with anything.

Just place your stones it holds.

Let's go with that!
