Was supposed to help put up roller blinds in my wife's son's apartment. When I was drilling into the drywall, I encountered what I believe to be steel studs. This is against an outer wall in a newly built house. So there should be steel studs mounted in the concrete wall on which the drywall is attached. Isn't it strange that there are steel studs making it impossible to mount roller blinds? Could it be to attach the windows, but they should be fastened into the concrete anyway? I can drill into the steel studs, but then you need to be sure that they are indeed steel studs and nothing essential like water or anything else, but there shouldn't be anything in the space between the drywall and the outside wall, right? Except for electricity, of course.

If it is not a load-bearing outer wall, it is probably most common with a so-called partition wall. A common framed wall, in other words, not concrete.

If it is directly behind the drywall that you encounter resistance, it should be a metal stud. An electrical conduit is usually a few cm in, but you can't be sure.....

Yes, it's probably a metal stud, and then you just have to drill through it. However, it seems very impractical to me, complicates things a bit.
