I am planning to build interior walls against a sloping ceiling. My idea was to use steel studs and wooden studs. I know that there is a special track available designed for sloping ceilings where you bend down the track from the mounts to get the right angle. However, I haven't found it in the hardware store (can't wait for an order) and I'm wondering if it is possible to bend the flanges of a regular steel track instead?
The alternative is to split wooden studs, but I don't have a suitable saw for this.
Grateful for any experience or ideas?

Hello!
I usually cut wedges that have the same slope as the roof and then screw them into the ceiling on the line where the wall is supposed to be. Then you have a flat surface on the underside of the wedge to screw up, for example, a steel rail or a wooden batten.
