Steel beams and noggings

I would need to place a number of spacers between my metal studs to attach electrical boxes.
Is there a solution for this?

Byggmax has kortlingsbeslag for their steel studs..looks like the one you have in the picture. The kortlingsbeslag is easy to use and doesn't cost many kronor...

Or you take and cut a regular rule. Cut a 3 cm notch in the fold between the bottom and the "walls" and fold the walls 90 degrees out and screw them into the rule.

There are special boxes that you glue on without the need for kottla. Otherwise, you take a 45x45 wooden stud and screw it on.

Byggmax has cross-joint brackets for their steel studs..looks like the one you have in the picture. The cross-joint bracket is easy to use and doesn't cost many kronor...

Byggmax studs (at our store anyway) look more rectangular and lack those 5mm flanges that go into the open part that Lindabs have.

I will check if Lindab has those kinds of cross-joint brackets!

Sounds like a good plan to avoid attaching wood to the construction! Will try.

There are special boxes that you can glue on without needing to insert a crossbar. Otherwise, you take a 45x45 wood stud and screw it on.

I will see if there are brackets for crossbars to buy for Lindab's metal profiles.

If there are, then I plan to place a horizontal metal stud as a crossbar between two vertical studs. On the crossbar, I will then attach a small wood stud to which I can nail the box. That should be perfect

Plan B would be to cut wings on the metal stud so I won't need the corner brackets if there aren't any.

IT WOULD BE completely perfect if there were profiled blocks to insert inside the horizontal stud but I assume there aren't since it's not needed (but wouldn't it be cool ).
