We ordered a staircase from a manufacturer in Björklinge. They build on-site and offer very good prices. Ours will cost around 17,000:- including oak steps. I don't remember the name of the company, but there probably aren't many staircase manufacturers in Björklinge.

Sounds really interesting, the estimates we've received are over 30,000:- for a staircase with oak steps.

We have just ordered a staircase from Idéhuset tel: 070-7918712. Price approximately 20,000 SEK with installation + railing with handrail. It is an untreated pine staircase with 13 steps. The company is located on Värmdö but he comes home to take all measurements and provide suggestions.

Save: How are you handling the untreated staircase? We have also ordered an untreated staircase with risers and plan to lacquer it white and stain the steps in oak style. How were you planning to do with the staircase, lacquer??? glaze???. Considering sending it in for lacquering before installation but haven't checked the price yet.
