Staircase to a deck that is about 2.5 meters high?

Hi, we are planning to build an additional deck around our house.
The height of the deck will be about 2.5 m high. We need stairs down to the garden and wonder how we can smartest build them. Should it be divided into two different sections or one long staircase?

Images? Cardinal directions? Landing is nice but of course takes up space. The stair formula for creating a comfortable staircase to walk on.
