We are going to install a stair railing and would like some tips and answers.
1. Have you used dowel screws from, for example, Lundbergs when setting the posts, does this work well? Otherwise, I am considering making a homemade "ziplock" writing pin/threaded rod with a nut that presses down the post.
2. My next question is how you would handle a window like this where the height is only 800mm, I don't want to make the railing too low, do you have any good tips?

Does the window open outward or inward?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but you don't need a railing by the window, do you? Isn't the stairwell on the right in the corner?
