Would like to cut a glulam beam so that it aligns in terms of slope with the rafters. It will be a 9-degree slope. Will it work without the glulam beam being significantly weakened?

Glulam beam: 90x270

It obviously depends on the load, but some manufacturers usually dislike cutting the top and bottom lamellae in the beam. Can't you move up the trusses and cut a wedge on the beam instead?

Yes, absolutely. A wedge could be an option.

IF I split, the LTB would be 265 at the highest and 250 at the lowest.

Though I would rather let the rafters rest on the posts..........In that case, it's more normal to bevel these a little so they rest on a flat post.

Yes, and then notch a wedge in the rafter so it rests flat. That's usually how it's done, and then as you've drawn, let the rafter extend a bit so you have something to lay the roof on. Otherwise, you'll only have a roof up to the post.

That's how I have it today, but it won't work with this new structure. Regardless, I will not split the LTB. Thanks for all the answers.
