Wondering why battens are placed on the inside of walls and ceilings before, for example, drywall and not directly on the stud frame, is it to create an air gap or to get closer fastening points or?

Best regards, Henke

If the trusses are set at 120 cc, there will be a bit too much space between the screws for the ceiling, plus you get room for electricity and other things.

As a rule, cc30 applies when installing ceiling gypsum if that's what you mean by glespanel? cc60 on walls. Plus, the insulation stays well on top of the upprelingcc 30.

borrowing the thread a bit....can someone just describe what exactly is meant by glespanel? dear child many names, or?!??!:D

28x70 or 28x60 usually.

Another advantage is that you can attach the plastic to the frame and then either install a 45 (for more insulation) or spacing (28-70). In both cases, you have the opportunity to run electricity and water in that space, thus avoiding the need to make holes everywhere in the plastic.!!

What kind of fabric do you have under the glesen?, fiberglass or?

Kind regards Jawen

Don't know exactly, but it was expensive...
It was supposed to be puncture-proof!
