Working on chiseling away a stone slab where a tile stove previously stood. The rest of the room has chipboard flooring, and the stone needs to be leveled with these before a new floor is installed.
Of course, there are some sparks, and I'm a bit worried that they might ignite something in a seam.

Thoughts?

  • Brick chimney corner with removed stone slab, showing exposed earth and particle board floor with a drill lying nearby.
It is gravel that creates sparks during chipping, if you're anxious, sprinkle a little water around the edge and above all, finish 2 hours before you go to sleep, that's how it's done during hot work, but this is not such work.
