spackle moldings

I'm installing moldings on the ceiling. However, I'm not very good at it, and the corners aren't exactly 90 degrees. I heard that there is putty that matches the color of the wood, but I only found a tube that was supposed to be pine-colored, which turned out to be transparent, so that didn't help. Are there any "tricks" to make neat corners without gaps? :-[

If you're going to paint the moldings, paint caulk/latex caulk works excellently. Unfortunately, I don't think they are available in wood color.

Mix wood glue and sawdust, then use it as filler. Of course, you should use sawdust from the same type of wood.

Unfortunately, I don't think they exist in wood color.

There is pine putty. At work, we use AG's pine putty, a small jar. If it sounds interesting, I can try to remember to look up the full name tomorrow. It SHOULD be possible to get it as a private individual...

Zar also has a wood patch ("Zar wood patch") based on latex and sawdust that is easy to work with and can be stained and glazed without showing too much. Available in several different colors to match various types of wood. Sold in paint stores.

Does anyone know if it's possible to apply Lut with white pigment on this, then hard wax with white pigment ("Zar wood patch"). If it works, any tips?

I have small gaps that I would like to conceal.

So, one piece is cut straight and the other at 45 degrees. You then notch the 45-degree piece so it fits against the straight piece. Fits nicely if the corner isn't 90 degrees
