Hello! I have cut out drywall with tiles to install new tiles. Now, when I'm patching with new drywall, it doesn't quite line up with the studs.

As you can see in the picture, it’s only a matter of a few decimeters, but it’s enough for the new board to move a bit if you press on it.
Is there a smooth way to fix this?

The studs that are already in place are 67-68 mm deep and not 70, which seems to be the standard. Thoughts on this?
Thanks

Wedge in a 45mm at the joint and screw into both the old and new boards. 70mm can easily become 68mm when dried. Or plane down a 70mm and put it there.
