Hello
I am in the process of building a laundry/relaxation room in my basement that will be tiled
today one wall (exterior wall) is bare concrete
the idea is to tile it but I thought of plastering/smoothing it before tiling
any tips on a suitable plaster/filler that is easy to apply,
I have tried with plaster mortar B with varying results on another wall
How uneven is it?
You can apply a fairly thick layer of fix and eliminate quite large irregularities. If it's an exterior wall, it's better to use less "surface" for moisture migration.
Putsbruk C is easier to work with than putsbruk B (indoors). However, I don't know if it is good enough for tiling afterwards?
In your case here, some kind of spackel might be better, but as anders07 pointed out - how uneven is it? It might be enough to just knock or sand away the largest protruding irregularities and then cover with a bit more adhesive?
