Hello!

I am going to install lighting in our retaining wall (In-lite Blink) and the wall stone is Megawall Projekt, which is a bit rough. The lamp I am going to install has a flat back, of course, and is to be screwed in with two screws into the stone. How can I make the surface as flat as possible so that the lamp sits flush? Then I wonder what kind of screw and plug you think I should use?

Saw a board of masonite/wood of the same size. Press it against the wall where the lamp is to be mounted and fill the gap with mortar from the sides. Let it dry. If that doesn't work, fill with plaster that dries in a few minutes. Remove the board and fill the space with mortar. Drill with a 6 mm masonry drill bit and use a 6 mm good nylon plug. A 5.0 wood screw will be good.
