Hello,
I have a semi-large construction project planned that includes retaining walls, ground modifications, a cast thermopool, a deck (200+ sqm on several terraces around the entire house), and starting a small building (attefallshus).
My question is whether there are any disadvantages to starting this now in the fall when it starts to freeze at night. Should one wait until spring? Personally, I feel it would be extremely nice to have it completed when spring arrives. But if there are any obvious drawbacks or risks with undertaking this type of project during Nov-Dec, I am willing to wait until spring to start.
I will of course consult a builder as well, but I also want some independent opinions from the knowledgeable people here on the forum!
