Currently working on fixing up the basement, pictures will come in due time.. we have bought, split, cut, and put up medium-sized slate stones on about 9 square meters of wall. Now we want to treat the walls to get a darker tone and to make it easy to maintain, what should we use? oil? wax? soap? I've searched a bit but can't find any concrete tips! HELP!
