Hi!

I'm in the process of renovating the workshop in the basement. The paint was peeling in many places, so I scraped it off, and almost all the paint in the room came off. The plaster underneath was so nice and came off easily; if you just brushed or stroked it a little, it fell off like fine sand.

I was therefore advised to first mix plaster very loosely/watery and apply it with a slamming brush. Did that today, looks good.

Because the wall is so uneven and pitted, the next step is to mix the plaster to normal consistency and spread it with a wide spatula.

Is it okay if I do that tomorrow?

Since today's plaster mix was so loose and a thin layer, it will be dry. But I'm wondering if it still needs to sit longer before the layer of plaster comes on?
