Hope this is the right forum to ask in :-?
We have a piece of drywall (about 2-3 sqm) that we would like to look plastered. We have done some walls before with fine filler, turned out so-so. I've read somewhere that you can use husfix, but it's so incredibly expensive.
Is there any good technique and material to get a "plastered" effect on a drywall???

A fairly cheap tip that I have heard is to prime the wall and then apply tile fix. That is, the mortar you use when you tile in the kitchen and bathroom. The result then entirely depends on how you do when you have the "plaster" on the wall
But it should probably turn out well.

Visit www.maxit.se and look at a product called Gypsum.

Haven't tried it myself but happened to see this the other day and it seems to do what you want.

Tile adhesive doesn't seem bad, but your tip Mathias seems to be exactly what we want. We'll have to check what it costs
Sand color has been considered before, but we don't want such bumpy, sharp, and hard walls as it seems to result in.

Can I jump in and ask for tips on considerations we have for creating a fake Skåne wall, as we call it, in our basement? Today, the long sides are covered with pine paneling, and the inspector found no moisture. We want to create the look of a half-timbered wall, meaning a white plastered surface with fake beams.
Option one is to remove the paneling and rewire, etc., and plaster, which might be unnecessarily large work just for a fun project.
Option two is to get a plastered texture on the paneling, but then it becomes like fake fake, a striped plaster wall...?
Option three is to cover 6 meters of panel with joint compound and plaster.
Option four is to install drywall and plaster.
What might work best? It is a basement, and moisture is a concern. This will be our first project with the house, and we hope to learn as we go, but it's great to have a place to ask!

I use this mortar for my basement exterior walls,,,,
http://www.beijerbygg.se/templates/BB_Produkt.aspx?id=6158
I applied it with Skärslev and kanitz, then I smoothed it out with the kanitsen,,, there's an option to get it as a plastered surface,,, but I chose to brush it afterward and create a bit of a pattern,,, feel free to arm yourself with a smaller paintbrush as well to reach into corners and under the ceiling....
I found the mortar very manageable,,,, I use a mixer for the drill and mix in a bucket, which I find sufficient at the pace I'm working...
