Hi!

I'm considering making an entrance canopy for the front door and have found a sketch I plan to use.
But I'm a bit unsure about the length of the brackets that will be attached to the wall and how far the overhang should be, does anyone have any ideas here?

You have the dimensions of the console and can measure it in the picture (if you print it) and then compare with the length of the various pieces.
The entire roof should extend further or at least as far as the door is wide so it comes under the roof when you open the door.

The problem is that the picture may not be to scale, but I can check it out 👍🏻

I would assume that the ratio between width and length is correct, so if 70 mm in reality is a certain measure on the image, you can use that to calculate the length of the pins and how far from the end of the roof the support meets, etc.

That type of illustrations are often well-made and if they've "cheated" with any length, they usually indicate or specify it.
