We are sketching a bike shed with a sloped pent roof. However, we are completely unsure about the dimensions. My wife would also like to have a sedum roof. To access the shed, it would be good to avoid having a post in the middle of the opening. We've started sketching with an opening width of 3500 mm and a depth of 2500 mm.
I'm thinking the posts could possibly be 75x75 and then using laminated timber 46x170 in between with cc 60. I know there are tables on TräGuiden, but I'm unsure which one to look at? "Is it glulam beams for roofs in a single span" I should check? In that case, I might need to narrow the width to 3m (snow zone 1). At the same time, it's "just" a bike shed, so I'm not sure how generous one can be with the margins?
