One last comment only:
If you can reduce the span of the roof beams by two to three decimeters, the deflection will decrease significantly. It might be worth testing in the calculation program, if B = 4500 mm is not set in stone.

45x170 has 99% utilization rate (without lighting and similar).
It depends on whether the utilization rate is for bending strength or shear strength. If it's, for example, the pressure perpendicular to the beam at the supports, you should avoid notching too much (and ideally, the calculation should be done with this in mind, which I doubt the calculation program has as an option). If instead, it's the bending strength in the middle of the beam (which is more likely), then notching at the supports does not affect it.

Or set small angles in the corners. Google pergola to see how many others have done it.
 
Now I'm done and I'm pretty satisfied! It ended up being 45x220 through and 95x95 posts. 😃

The only thing that bothers me a bit is that it's not completely rigid sideways, but with that length out from the house, I suspect it's challenging to achieve without posts even on the long side.

I've secured the posts properly to solid joists down by the deck just above the concrete footings, so it's not moving down there. It's the post itself that wobbles a bit higher up if you push and try to shake it.

Would diagonal braces on the front help with lateral stability? I don't think it's really a problem since it's so minimal, but a bit annoying 😋

Yes, you should aim at the top of the posts, even if it's only moving a little now, with the wind and the forces of weather it will get worse.

Ok, I'll go with that! It looks nicer with braces anyway, so it doesn't matter. Will it be good with 2 braces per section, so 4 in total? I was thinking maybe using 45x45 timber so that it matches with the studs.

Yes, two per section sounds good, but I would go for a slightly sturdier stud since 45x45 is a bit weak..

It ended up being 45x70 and now it feels much more stable. Thanks for the tip. 👍
