Simple rule in exterior wall = problem?
Hello everyone!
My builder wants to only use 190 or 220 mm framework in the exterior wall. That means no internal framework with an installation layer, and nothing on the outside either. But then the vapor barrier will be directly behind the OSB and plasterboard on the interior wall? So every time you nail up a picture or mount a shelf, you'll damage the vapor barrier. Not to mention all the electrical boxes and outlets. Additionally, there must be a greater risk of gaps and thermal bridges when you only have one layer of insulation and nothing overlapping to cover the seams.
Am I thinking correctly or incorrectly? The builder probably wants to save labor hours by skipping the internal 45-framework (we have a fixed price). Or am I exaggerating?

You're not exaggerating. However, if you're proceeding according to HUS-AMA, there should be rules for how airtight the house should be. Inform them that you plan to pressure test the house after completion, and I believe your builder would also want an installation layer.

"My" builder wanted to build with an external horizontal stud 70 x 45 and a vertical 220 x 45.
But he didn't protest against instead placing 45 + 220 + 45, so I also got an installation layer.
I don't think it affected the price except for the materials. We had a fixed price only for the labor.

There are regulations (Boverket's building regulations) that specify the acceptable U-values in different cases. This can make it difficult to obtain a building permit for a building with insufficient insulation.

To me, 190 mm insulation sounds a bit low. I have 310 mm.
But of course, it depends on how the rest is built and how large the extension is. If it's a new Attefallare, then no building permit is needed

It's an old wooden house from the 40s which, despite additional insulation, comes to about 20 cm wall thickness. The extension will be an angle of 50 sqm. I thought the wall thickness in the extension should somewhat match the old wall.

I understand your thinking, but as mentioned, it's far from certain that you can choose how little insulation your extension should have (regardless of how the old house is insulated).
