Short drywall screw?

Hello.
I have now installed OSB on the gable ends.
I thought it would be nice to be able to attach the drywall boards in the middle as well, between two studs.
But shouldn't the drywall screws be very short then? e.g., 24mm (11 mm OSB + 13 mm drywall); otherwise, the screw would go into the plastic and right into "the air" = not good.

Now it might be a bit late, but don't you usually set it up like this:
'yttervägg' | plastic | stud | osb | gypsum
so that you have an installation space of 45mm behind the OSB? That way you avoid exactly the problem you're talking about, especially since you'll probably have various penetrations for electrical outlets and other things in the wall?

Jarmo-dialect: Real men don't need installation spaces. They put their boxes and pipes directly in the rockwool with bare chests. And they hand screw all the boards without any damn screwdriver. Osb+gypsum? Rough planking directly and handsaw all the planks with a dull handsaw. Damn wusses!
Haha, but seriously, installation space would save some hassle, and 25mm banded is available at Beijer as mentioned, but then you have to love your construction because it costs, everything at Beijer costs a fortune unless you have good discounts.

The plastic usually moves around. Then you screw through it, and the screw still stays in the plastic. It's more of a "problem" when you remove a screw that has been on the plastic and rubbed.
I think there's a lot of unnecessary fuss about this with plastic. It's only in recent years that we have to have plastic everywhere xD

This is in the garage = want all the electricity visible and easily accessible for any changes.
If there's no harm in going through the plastic, I'll use the regular length for the drywall screws, otherwise, I thought it would be good to avoid puncturing it.

120 gypsum screws are used with a spacing of 60 cm centers, and 90 gypsum on 45 cm centers. It is also common to set a couple of screws between the rows of screws in the ceiling, bottom, and joints.
Everything else is overkill and just creates more work.
