Hello
I'm helping a friend install shelves in his apartment. However, we encountered a problem as the wall consists of porous plaster and behind that, brick.
The first drill hole we made was in the mortar between two bricks.
After looking around, it seems that anchor adhesive is the way to go. How does it work with a sleeve anchor? Do you do it the same way as with a threaded rod, or is there something else I should consider?
Or do you have any other ideas on what we should do?

The problem is that I drilled the first hole into the brick. And since we can't see behind the plaster, we don't want to just drill randomly and hope we hit brick.
My question is if there is anything to consider when using anchor resin and anchor sleeve, or if it's just straightforward.
