I am planning to install a string shelf as a TV stand and a TV on a wall of plaster and brick (not hollow brick). I've tried to figure out what type of plug and screw I should use, but I hope to get advice on something sensible and whether it's even worth attempting since it will bear quite a bit of weight. Just the TV alone weighs 25kg...
I was thinking of using 8mm universal plugs, but maybe there's something more suitable? Should I add something like PL-400 to ensure everything stays in place?
