At a partition wall in my home, there's sawdust/sawdust falling down, meaning from inside the wall down to the floor by the trim. There is a negative pressure in the building. What is this phenomenon due to? Does it come from the attic or has the wall been wet, and it's falling as it dries?
Assuming it's an older house since it is shavings/sawdust. It was common before to fill shavings in joists and roofs with newspaper or tar paper on top of the boards. It is not certain that it is tongue-and-groove wood. With age, the wood has probably shrunk and maybe they weren't so careful when they laid the newspaper/tar paper. I don't think the wall has been wet. It should have been noticeable. If it's the attic above, you might have the opportunity to go up and check. Dig away the shavings and put some newspaper there. A string of latex sealant at the ceiling joint might also solve the problem.
It is a single-story townhouse from 1965 with a basement. I have had many problems with this residence that I rent. There is a strange/overwhelming smell by the floorboard on the concerned wall that increases in intensity in humid climates. The landlord refuses to go up to the attic to even check.... the matter is with the county administrative board, but this was something new that happened, that tree dust/shavings have fallen down...

The landlord has the environmental responsibility to ensure that the home is healthy. If he does not investigate and rectify the issues, you can contact the environmental unit at the municipality. But you have apparently reported it since the county administrative board is involved. The smell suggests moisture and... mold.
