I have an idea that is so Mr Bean-like that I'll spare you the details. I need something sharp with an edge on both sides - kind of like a razor blade but larger. Is there perhaps something like that?

A sword?

A sickel perhaps? Do you want to cut or just scrape/scratch? You could take any metal piece and sharpen edges on both sides. Glue together two knife blades.

Sharpen a pancake turner.
Insulation knife, but it only has an edge on one side, but you can sharpen it.

It depends a bit on the shape, durability requirements, area of use, etc.

Describe the idea :-) Or send me a PM.

I grind and forge some knife blades.

Rented a machine to scrape off glued plastic mats with, it had a reversible blade, but that was 25 years ago.

How large are razor blades that are about 150-200mm?

Brace knife blades are long and likely won't break if cutting something soft. But as thin as razor blades is probably difficult in longer lengths.

Mr Bean-like idea involving large razor blades... Sounds like it could end really badly.

Check with solfilmsgruppen, they have wide razor blades.
