Self-leveling compound or floor screed
I need to fill up the floor about 20cm in the guest toilet (basement below and concrete slab) and plan to fill with lecakulor. What is best to bind these with? Sluring (cement water) or thin fiber-reinforced self-leveling compound? On top, it will of course be leveled (no underfloor heating).
Leca 12-20 slightly larger gaps between them when the slurry is applied, it flows down a bit more, but becomes slightly thicker, so-called plate
8-14 smaller balls might create a thin lid where the slurry penetrates a maximum of 1.5 cm, load-bearing capacity??
You whisk the slurry in a larger bucket (roller) with a drill and hook, if you don't have a hook, an ordinary iron rod will suffice. Bend an angle at the bottom, it should just spin in the mixture and not be too thick slurry, it dries quickly against the Leca and stops flowing

Lay out the lecan and smooth it out so it becomes even, sprinkle a little over, maybe with a watering can and sprinkle, then a very thin soup. The risk is that a leca floats up, so it might be good to glue together a little, also remember that if you're going to walk on the lecan, have a wide board on it for that, otherwise it tends to become like quicksand and easily gets stepped down. Before the floating, you can lay a cloth on top of the lecan and preferably a reinforcement, so the floating becomes durable in bearing capacity. The floating has a tendency to find all the small holes and gaps that exist and disappear for good somewhere, especially along walls and pipe passages. It doesn't take more than a 5 mm hole for it to run away.
What type of fabric is recommended for this purpose?
I'm considering doing as I wrote above, a little sluring every other sack of leca and then a little more on top.
That way I can also pour a little extra around pipes for water and sewage.
Byggmax lecakulor are 8-14 so it will probably be that. It should also create fewer holes for the self-leveling screed water to flow into.

Check if you can find something with smaller pieces, it doesn't need to cover everything at once. It can be smaller pieces that overlap each other, preferably in a burlap form so the float drains down a bit and is absorbed and reinforces against the leca. The float then reinforces up a strong cake together with the reinforcement that will lie flush against the leca and you secure the GV at the reinforcement mesh. Edit: turns out there was no GV.
