Seal small hole in countertop - moisture is getting in
Hi!
I've had a new kitchen for a year now. When the tiler was here to put tiles in the kitchen, he accidentally dropped a tile on the countertop, causing a small dent. It wasn't a big deal as I have my coffee machine at that spot and the countertop is in dark brown wood, but it's laminate from Ikea, so you can't really see it. Now, when I was cleaning under the coffee machine, there was a bit of water on the spot which, of course, came from the coffee machine, and the countertop absorbed some of it, resulting in a dent. Can I seal this small hole with something like silicone or similar? Any tips are welcome, but it must be dark brown.
(The tiler was a friend of mine who helped me out, so I didn't bother doing anything about the small damage by demanding compensation from him.)
